Analyze your breathing, heart rate, and oxygen levels in your blood while you sleep.
A home sleep study, completed in the comfort and privacy of your own home, will be used to determine if you suffer from sleep apnea. This overnight recording, where the data is gathered by a device that is no larger than the size of your cell phone, will analyze your breathing, heart rate, and the oxygen levels in your blood while you sleep.
After the initial consultation, we will schedule you to receive a user-friendly Home Sleep Test (HST) that you will wear while you sleep naturally in your own bed. The results of the test will be read by a Board Certified Sleep Physician, who will then alert us of your results and if your airway is compromised enough to be medically concerning. We will then have you back in the office for a results consultation to go over the results, what sleep apnea is, what all of this means for you, and we will present treatment options.
NOTE: If you have already been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea and would like information on alternative treatment options to CPAP, please contact us today.
